Who we are

GEMCOMMERCE CO., LTD, trading as Gemians ("we", "us"), operates gemians.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • When you buy: your name, email address, billing details, and order information. Payment card details are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • When you submit a form: the information you give us, such as your name, email address, store or page URL, and a description of your project.
  • When we do the work: access to your Shopify store as a collaborator, and any files, references, or design assets you send us.
  • When you browse: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time on site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Why we collect it

  • To deliver the service you ordered and communicate about it.
  • To process payments and keep records required for accounting and tax.
  • To respond to your questions and quote requests.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services we need to run the business:

  • Shopify, for hosting, orders, and payments.
  • Google Workspace, for email correspondence.
  • ClickUp, for tracking the tasks in your project.
  • Slack, if you accept an invitation to a shared channel.
  • Microsoft Clarity, for site analytics.

Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Store access

When you order a build, we request collaborator access to your Shopify store. We use that access only to carry out the work you ordered. You can revoke it at any time from your Shopify admin, and we ask you to remove it once the project is complete.

How long we keep it

We keep order and billing records for as long as the law requires. Project files and communications are kept while we may still need them to support your work, then deleted on request.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. Email harry@gemcommerce.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Cookies

We use cookies for basic site function and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working correctly.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
